Online CIA Master’s Degree Helps Busy Professionals Create Next Big Thing in Food
The CIA introduces the first of its kind executive-format master’s degree examining the business of food. The CIA’s Master of Professional Studies (MPS) in Food Business is a primarily online program, allowing working professionals to devote time to advancing their careers and businesses according to their own schedule.
Michael Ferraro' 02 Delivers Commencement Address
Michael Ferraro '02, executive chef and partner at New York City’s Delicatessen and macbar restaurants, delivered the commencement address at the Hyde Park campus. The CIA alumnus has been running Delicatessen since 2008, during which time he has incorporated world flavors into the menu and elevated the cuisine, earning much acclaim along the way.
Alumnus Anthony Bourdain' 78 Has Died
The CIA is deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Anthony Bourdain '78, renowned chef, author, and TV personality. He opened the world of food and different cultures to all through his brilliant storytelling.

2018 CIA Leadership Awards Honor Alumni
Five CIA graduates who are “Stars of the Small Screen” were honored by The Culinary Institute of America at the college’s Augie Award™ ceremony at the Ziegfeld Ballroom in New York City on April 25. The Augies—the college’s Leadership Awards event—is the CIA’s largest annual fundraising program. Read More here.
